Free affiliate scripts more info

Hopefully these will answer some questions

All free scripts contain banners from our Webmastersearn contextual ad network and a small google link displayed. these are clean and not too distracting. The other ad spaces are your own.

You do not have to use our template, this is just a basic example. It is extremely easy to add the functionality to an existing sites look and feel. We will address this in our forums.

Support is limited, only our paid scripts get any support, you may of course ask questions in our forums but we cannot guarantee ultra fast responses.

All important php scripts are encrypted, these are not GPL or open source but on the other hand they are free, we just dont want someone to come along, download, make a few changes to the source and resell them.

These scripts are free and must not be resold, this includes those 'collections of scripts' with glorified open source programs in them. Any selling or such of these scripts will result in legal action.

We include a sample datafeed, in most cases these have our info but can be used for testing, the Shareasale one is generic. Our script uses a setting in config.php to replace the shareasale ID with your ID.

You have to be 1. Accepted by the Affiliate network 2. Accepted by the merchant. Most of the programs we choose tend to be auto approve but some merchants manually approve affiliates.

Free vs Paid

We have based free scripts on certain criteria, the main ones are amount of products and niche. if there are under 600 products for example and/or the niche is not an extremely popular one we will release this as a free script.

Free contains advertising from 2 sources as mentioned above, these are hard coded so we cannot sneakily change them once people start hopefully using the scripts, paid scripts will have no advertising.

we check the status of merchants reguilarly with paid scripts, not so frequently with the free ones. It will be your responsibility to ensure they are still active.
